Tour control and full performance
TP5 is our softest and highest spinning Tour ball, with improved stopping power within 100 metres. Fed by a soft molded urethane sleeve, the increased spin at the green puts control and precision where it matters most: closest to the pin.

The new Tour Flight Dimple Pattern unlocks the next level of aerodynamics while promoting maximum carry distances and a steep descent angle for extra stopping power, especially on long irons.

Expanded core, explosive speed
A larger and more responsive Tri-Fast Core is the centerpiece of TP5's Speed Layer system. Made up of four progressively stiffer layers to produce more ball speed, it is designed to deliver more carry from the tee, more control in the wind and more spin around the greens.

The road to distance
The path to distance has evolved with the all-new TP5. In 2017, a movement began with the optimal spin and launch conditions offered by our 5-layer construction. Then we increased ball speed with the HFM Speed Layer and now we've added advanced aerodynamics with the Tour Flight Dimple Pattern.

New Tour Flight Dimple pattern
Our most aerodynamic dimple pattern ever now produces explosive carry distances. This unique design features a 322 dimple pattern designed to provide improved aerodynamics and carry distance. It has a shallow overall dimple to reduce drag during ascent, with steep walls to trap air during descent to maintain lift and keep the ball in the air longer.

5-layer construction
The key to achieving improved speed without negatively impacting spin performance comes from TaylorMade's patented 5-ply ball construction. Featuring a larger and more reactive Tri-Fast Core that delivers maximum lift and low drag and a Dual-Spin Cover with an ultra-soft, highly durable molded urethane sleeve, TP5 offers complete tee-to-green performance without sacrifice. The final result is a ball that promotes fast launches, maximum carry distances and a steep ramp angle for extra stopping power, especially with long irons.

Speed-Layer System
The Speed-Layer system consists of four increasingly stiff layers to produce more ball speed. The result is more carry distance off the tee, more control in the wind and more spin around the greens.

High Flex material (HFM)
TP5 contains a material called HFM (High-Flex Material), which delivers higher ball speeds through a greater rebound effect. HFM acts like a tightly wound spring that builds energy and rebounds quickly, generating more ball speed.
